Herewith another one of those words overused in the press which has become a synonym for "bad," simply by virtue of its overuse, and which is actually a useful word once examined: draconian. I know you've run across this word. It's usually flung at once policy or another, from one side of the street or wall or building, giving the label to an opposing group's policies or ideologies or passions or whatever. Whenever you find this word in use, remind yourself of this fact, and see if the use of the word measures up to its meaning.
Blessings.

Looking for a definition of the word "dog"?
Try this: define:dog. There's a bunch of them.
When you're done with that, look down at your feet. Or in your lap. Or up on the sofa. That there is a dog. See?
